‘Things Can Only Get Better’ – Howard Jones
I had the morning off school, listening to Prince, Frankie and Art of Noise, and writing my own Pop Chart.
My No.1: ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ – Howard Jones

Bought 2000AD.

Rachel Baker’s been calling me ‘n’ Owen Thomas ‘poseurs’. She thinks my change of image since last year, and the fact that I’ve started wearing bracelets and bangles, is a ‘pose’! I’ve decided I’m going to play up to this, quite badly. Owen and I have started a ‘poseur gang’ to get on her nerves.
Daphne came to stay.
This week, I have watched, in order of preference:
For A Few Dollars More
Miami Vice
Alas Smith And Jones
Doctor Who: The Two Doctors
The Tube
Friday People
Danger Mouse
That’s My Boy
Only Fools And Horses
Film ’85
OLD DIARY ENTRIES…

‘I bought this week’s Eagle. Stayed the night at Gran Pritchard’s and watched The Martian Chronicles again. It was good.’
