‘Bridges Burning’ – The Mission
A letter from Flash who’s having fun and doing well and using our comedy character ‘Berwin Groomstool’ in his stand-up a lot.
A call from Johnny to whom I gave some info regarding my latest ‘get EQUITY cards’ strategy.
A call from Larry Goodgirl who’s interested in what I’m up to.
And that’s about it.
Major musical concerns: SIOUXSIE + THE BANSHEES, THE MISSION, THE CURE, SISTERS, THE SUNDAYS, SHOP ASSISTANTS, THE CULT, LED ZEP, JIMI HENDRIX, OMD, MORRISSEY, THE SMITHS, THE SHAMEN, THE CHARLATANS, MADONNA, JESUS + MARY CHAIN, ROXY MUSIC, PIXIES, and PET SHOP BOYS. Quite varied and good on them and me for being so.
‘If You Leave’ – OMD
Tonite, I visited my folks and we had fireworks for Chip. Fun, I reckon.
Oh, Stan wrote and he and Michelle have moved in together. He’s lost his job because the company went bankrupt or something. He’ll be down here this coming weekend. I hope we can go out somewhere.
And I hope Maggie writes tomorrow.
