Away In A Mang-er

‘Cubik’ – 808 State

Getting on with my immature antics, here’s more on the new Situation/Berwin LP.  I have recorded a version of ‘Away In A Manger’ and it’s not very hilarious at all.  It’s based on the kind of thing that Berwin might tell you in the pub at Christmas, i.e. his theory that Jesus came from a race of aliens that look like babies and live on Mars.  It’s not very long.  I wrote the lyrics and did the vocals: double-tracked Berwin and some other characters.  I recorded it over a St. Winifred’s School Choir track.  Totally fucks up at the end, but never mind.
