My No.1: ‘Bloody Revolutions’ by Crass
The England vs. Germany match was fantastic and also sad.
I am currently staying with Gran and Granddad Winterfood. In my room, I’ve come across a shoebox full of age-old ephemera – including love letters sent to my Dad by Annie and some of his poetry; one called ‘Evolve Me’ and another one called ‘Yorkshire Slides’, which is great and I love it. There’s also a letter from Louise that confirms Betty’s story about Gran W leaving Grandad briefly in the early ‘70s. Oh god, there are also court papers used in my parents’ divorce and the custody thingie over me from 10th September 1973.
CHRIST! This is amazing. Glasnost for Ritcherd J Winterfood.
‘Buffalo Stance’ – Neneh Cherry
Today, I saw Flash and Elbow. We watched Who.
‘Smash It Up’ – The Damned
When Elbow + I went to meet Flash today, we were both dreading seeing Raquel (and her somewhat two-faced manner).
