The Dead Cellar

My No.1: ‘Some Kind of Stranger’ by The Sisters of Mercy

Today, I felt less good than I did last night.

I had to go to Tech, leaving all that I wanted behind me.

All night, I’d been hoping that time might stop for us both and the roof of the house might blow off and reveal hitherto unnoticed hillsides and meadows that we could fly out across.

For some reason, she was telling me that her facial features should be unbeautiful.  But they’re just so gorgeous.

Last night, she dreamt that she and one of her cousins assembled various people in their house and then murdered them, hiding their bodies in the cellar.  Then the police rang at the door and came in, entering the cellar.  But in the cellar, all the victims were alive, chatting away.  This terrified her in her dream as she couldn’t rightly tell the police she’d just murdered them all and they ought to be dead…

I like THE MISSION, who were on TOTP tonight – and I’ll be damned if two years on, Simon Hinkler wasn’t once again wearing that leather belt I sold him in 1988.  That stunned me to crikey-o!
