‘Don’t Let Me Down’ – The Wonder Stuff
Today, me + Jonny did our ‘lecture demo’ on ‘alternative comedy’ (with grateful thanks to the kind assistance of Peter Conti), then we handed in our written work.
Oh, and this evening was ‘good’, but more on that anon.
‘Wig Wam Bam’ – Damian
First I went to a carol service with Betty and then I went off to The Angel for Wendy’s 20th birthday celebration. When I walked into the pub I saw old faces such as Danny + Rod Oliver, Mooney (now split up from), Angela (who was also there), and Legs.
The Angel seems to be full of young students these days.
Anyway, I spent ages talking to Wendy, who’d been going out with a twat for ages and had stayed in London + Cambridge a while but is now back. She got quite drunk and rambled on about missing Ash (who wasn’t there, sadly), but we cuddled and chatted and were very close all nite.
When the pub closed and we all left at 11.30pm, Wendy and I kissed, long + lasting kisses outside. It was like something about us had chosen a moment to merge after knowing each other for so long.
