A Call From Wendy Mackintosh

I spent all today typing up my 'alternative comedy' essay.

‘In Private’ – Dusty Springfield

Was recently thinking about my ‘hermitage’ and the way I’d closed myself off from the Wisbech lot just lately.  And I did.  I really shut myself off from that scene.  Well, that’s changing now.  Though, I imagine, only briefly…

And why?

Today, old friend Wendy Mackintosh rang me and invited me to her gathering in The Angel tomorrow nite, where she’ll be celebrating her 20th birthday.
