Weight of the World

‘And I Say To Myself’ – David Bowie

It’s been a bloody odd week.

I’ve been making a special effort with Gemma today.

Since yesterday’s dodgy MP run, I’ve been feeling very ill, on edge and – frankly – exhausted.  All attempts at resolving the show’s problems have proven quite difficult.  I think I’m overcoming the issues, but it feels like the weight of the world on me right now.  Today has been all about resolving issues with the costumes, re-writes and some intense rehearsal.  We also had a press call – and the coverage has been brilliant.  I’m very glad.

Gemma and I made up and went for coffee in my break.
