Today was the Christmas Lunch. More of that anon…
PANTO AT ALDERMAN JACKSON SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL NEEDS
It was sad when we performed the panto for the Alderman Jackson special school. The performance was once again successful, but it all felt very sad. Donna Davidson and I toured the school but had to leave the special needs room, because we were heartbroken. There was one little girl, lying down, all tired + resting, smiling at us all in her half-sleep. But Donna and I were in tears. Those poor, unfortunate children. At least it felt rewarding to think that we were giving these lovely kids something really special for Christmas. I think that helping such causes may be a useful and rewarding thing to do in future days.
CHRISTMAS DINNER FOR BTEC (and any others who wished to join us!)
This was good fun, thanks to Danny Abbott’s organisation.

We ate, drank + made jolly merry. We then – all of us – did a little ‘party revue’, and Will said some very kind words about me in his speech.
It was a jolly laugh + Betty enjoyed it, too.
