I VISITED COLLEGE TODAY for my first Induction Day + IT DEPRESSED ME.  I AM LEFT NONPLUSSED.  JUST LIKE IN ’86.

I MUST BE PATIENT.  EASE INTO THE SCHEDULE, ADJUST.

CAN I HACK IT FOR 2 YEARS, THOUGH?!

IF I CAN FIND A SUITABLE JOB IN THE MEANTIME, I’LL TAKE IT.  IN FACT, I AM APPLYING FOR A JOB IN BBC LOCAL RADIO AS A PRODUCTION ASSISTANT.  WORTH A TRY.

SAW KAT (+ LEIGHTON) and we were good friends.

TONITE, MIRANDA TOOK ME OUT IN THE CAR.  WE KISSED AND MADE LOVE.  IT WAS LOVELY.

I miss Flash + Yorkshire + Money + Fun…

GOODNIGHT

P.S. DEATH IS INVITING.  AND I WOULD PROBABLY KILL MYSELF IF LIFE WEREN’T SO GOOD.

YEEEEEEEEEUUURGH!

CRAP!

Later:

‘Run To The Hills’ – Iron Maiden

Following the instructions on the ‘pink sheet’ of preparatory BTEC work, I opted to try some set design for Macbeth.  I intended my design to give a traditional feel to the play, in that it seems to reflect more antiquarian aspects of ‘British’ life that pre-date the period in which it was written, witches, the occult, etc.  I also went for more jagged, nasty and sharp imagery, to reflect the violent themes that play also seems to revolve around.
