‘L’America’ – The Doors
Dee and I left the Gordons of Ashton Street and trailed off into the wide blue yonder. She gave me a lift to Pontefract, and then drove on to Coventry. I went to my Gran Pritchard’s (the whole point of my weekend stay in the North) to attend my Gran + Granddad Pritchard’s Ruby Wedding Anniversary Tea Party (along with the likes of Aunty Lizzie, Aunty Violet, Uncle Keith, Brian Beard, Martin, Our Jeff, Kelly, Toyah Beard, Betty Baker, Freddie Dale, Jack, Chip, Queenie and others).
It was fun. HO-HO-HO! YA-HOO! Lotsa nosh. Was a good binge!
And now we’re home. How crap.
But what a Raight Rudolph Hess weekend. Really Christmassy.
I ENJOYED IT!
