In eleven days, I’ll be 17.  I feel cheated.  I feel older.  I look older.  I am much more physically ‘mature’ than 17 – people tell me this. 

I love Flash and Naomi Bell, by the way. 

I’m not getting my hair cut, I don’t think.  Oh well.

‘Dust’ – Fields of the Nephilim

HELLO AGAIN!

The last record I heard in May was ‘Enigma’ by Fuzzbox.

The first record I heard in June was ‘Dust’ by Fields of the Nephilim – which is on as we speak.

Lots of Beatle fever in the media today.  All this ‘IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO TODAY’ business.

Well, a return to Tech, yeah, guys?  Usual shit.  I’m gonna get murdered when Betty finds out I’ve dropped Political History.  Oh well, tough shit, eh?  Yahrse!  As you may have gathered, I got the NEPHILIM album (Dawnrazor), so I’m raight chaffed wi’ mesen.  I also sent my letter to Naomi!

Roger was nice to me today!  Good.  So was Nyall.  Strange.  Luggage is odd.  He thinks that when we were playing tigs last week (or whenever), and I said ‘Get Lug!’ to Simon ‘n’ Nigel, as in ‘tig Luggage’, he thought I was telling them to bray him o’er.  So he now thinks I’m two-faced (?!).  Oh well…

Simon and Nigel came to Tech and we dossed around.  Simon’s off to Wales on Wednesday, so I waen’t see him for a while.  Or Nigel.  They were chuffed with the trip to Flash’s, by the way.

‘Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves’ – Cher

Jo Wedonska’s an unfortunate girl, y’know.  She hasn’t had sex for 9 months.  I ain’t had it for about 14!  Not intercourse, anyway…  She’s worried in a way, though, cos she doesn’t fancy anyone – just people on telly.  She told me that before long she’ll be looking for a boy just to have sex with.  We’re going to meet up one Saturday in Wisbech.  I’m chuffed.  We always share our views on lack of sex, etc, and the thought has just crossed my mind that we may be able to help each other…

Musical Taste of late:

I’m getting further into Alien Sex Fiend.  I’ve started a Fields Of The Nephilim phase.  Still interested in Gene Loves Jezebel.  Getting well into a Sex Pistols and Sigue Sigue Sputnik revival.  Want to get further into The Zodiac Motel.  I really like Zodiac Mindwarp.  Slowly returning to The Mission.  Quite keen on The Sisters.  I also have a mild taste for certain records from the years ’66 – ’69.  Oh, and ‘Li’l Devil’ by The Cult.  I can also imagine that I’m probably going to get really into Gaye Bikers On Acid soon…
