Boring Happenings

My No.1: ‘Desire (US Club Mix)’ – Gene Loves Jezebel

Well, I’ve been invited to see X-Mal Deutschland, Ghost Dance and The Mission, all in a variety of places with a variety of people – but I doubt that I’ll go to any of them, cos I can’t afford it.  By the way, ‘Severina’ is in duh shoppes now, so I’ll go and buy it tomorrow!

‘I’m So Free’ – Lou Reed

Feck all happened today.  Why won’t someone come and seduce me?  Why do I live so far away from DIRTY DANYEL (Flash!)?  And Dodo!

I think we of The Magic Roundabouts will be doing a cover of Lou Reed’s ‘Walk on the Wild Side’.

Hope so!

Within the petals of my Valentine

I’m tearing feelings from a friend

No harm intended is all I say

You think I’m lying and you’re dying

Searching heartfelt emotions again

Confusion speaks and I am torn

And as you finished, all I could say

Was why am I crying?  No time for lying

Faces and feelings are open for kisses

I hold her in my arms and you

Hate me for ever; it’s all I deserve

It’s time I learnt the art of denying
