After a dossy day, Flash and I allowed Betty and Freddie a romantic night alone by venturing into Wis. St Mary for a booze up with two Decans (Joey and Gary), Jazz + Cheggers. They all got along great with Flash and we got drunk in TheWheel and The Bridge Inn. And we got nasty at some car drivers who were hurling abuse at us. Alcohol makes you feel invincible!
Gary Decan was impressed by mine and Flash’s Situation and Dead Dead stuff and wants us to write songs for his band!
I think I’m going to need a ‘stage name’. I can’t be called Ritcherd. It sends out the wrong message. What shall it be? Something suitably punky or gothic, I think…
[It’s funny to think that Chip was probably conceived on this day – Ritcherd, 15th August 1994]
