My No.1: ‘Underground’ – David Bowie
Today, whilst in town, Betty bumped into Nicky Brown and chatted with her. But guess who was with Nicky? My girlfriend – Melba Dench! Ulp! Next time I see Melba, will I be embarrassed by this fact? Mehopes in the ‘not’ direction.
Sorry, pop-chids, but I haven’t gone into detail about myself for centuries. So here goes.
Right now, I’m amazingly in love with Melba, really into David Bowie and Bauhaus and also Smash Hits! Plus, I’m v. much looking for a penpal/correspondent in either Japan or W. Germany.
And guess wot, chiddehs?
I’m going to write to a West German one I found in the RSVP column of Smash Hits. Her name is Claudia and she’s v. into David Bowie. Good, eh? I’ve composed the letter. All that remains now is sending the bleeder. Ho-hum.
‘Dear Prudence’ – Siouxsie and the Banshees
Now, Chiddies in Chiddehland, how’s about dis den?
There’s a gig in Wisbech tomorrow, featuring all the v. gothic Wisbech bands (made up of various cool people Astra and Hazel know, like Ash, Rod Griffin, Dan Berry, Womble, etc) and I wanna go, so there, farty!
