Live Aid

Live Aid was on TV today! Absolutely Brill.

I’ve been watching (and tape recording) since 11.50am. It’s been 10 hours of mostly brilliant music, including: Adam Ant, Ultravox, Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones, Madonna, Thompson Twins, David Bowie, Spandau Ballet, The Style Council, Sade, Sting, U2, The Boomtown Rats, Phil Collins, Queen, Simple Minds, Paul McCartney and Status Quo.

I also got Doctor Who Magazine issue 103 today.

It’s now 10pm, and I’m about to go and work on an Outside Bar with George. This means I’m probably going to miss some good Live Aid stuff, but I can watch the rest when I get back, and George has promised me a few lagers.

REPORT BOOK

for Ritcherd Jones

SECOND YEAR
END OF YEAR

English
Ritcherd reads well with confidence and expression. His written work is usually interesting and thoughtfully structured. He has an individual style, which often gives glimpses of his lively sense of humour.

Mathematics
Ritcherd finds Maths a struggle at times and tends to work slowly, rather than put in more effort to meet the challenge. He makes steady progress.

Other aspects of work
Ritcherd uses paint well and has a good sense of colour and design. He tends to be somewhat lethargic in P.E. and games, though he can work well when he concentrates and makes an effort.

General remarks
It is always very obvious when Ritcherd enjoys doing something and when he does not. He must try to work hard at those things which do not come as easily to him.
